Tools and Materials You'll Need:
  • Fabric-Backed Stone Veneer Sheets
  • Adhesive (recommended: flexible stone veneer adhesive)
  • Trowel or Spatula
  • Level
  • Tape Measure
  • Utility Knife
  • Straight Edge or Metal Ruler
  • Soft Cloth
  • Gloves and Safety Glasses
  • Installation Steps:
1. Preparation:

Ensure that the surface you'll be installing the fabric-backed stone veneer on is clean, dry, and structurally sound.

Measure and mark the area where you intend to install the veneer sheets.

2. Applying Adhesive:

Choose a flexible stone veneer adhesive suitable for fabric-backed veneer.

Apply the adhesive evenly onto the installation surface using a trowel or spatula. Make sure to cover the entire area where the veneer sheet will be placed.

3. Positioning the Sheet:

Carefully place the fabric-backed stone veneer sheet onto the adhesive-coated surface. Align it properly with your marks and ensure a snug fit.

Gently press the sheet onto the adhesive, starting from the center and working your way outward to remove air bubbles and ensure proper adhesion.

4. Smoothing and Aligning:

Use a soft cloth or rubber roller to gently smooth the surface of the veneer sheet, ensuring it adheres firmly to the adhesive and is free from wrinkles or air pockets.

Use a level to ensure that the sheet is straight and properly aligned.

5. Trimming Excess Material:

Use a utility knife along with a straight edge or metal ruler to carefully trim any excess material along the edges of the sheet for a clean and precise finish.

6. Cleaning and Final Touches:

Clean the surface of the veneer sheet using a soft cloth to remove any adhesive residue or smudges.
